Mortgages are available from Turkish banks for purchase of property in Turkey and we can introduce you when out in Turkey to a number of banks that provide these services. Terms are normally:
- Up to a maximum of 60% of the loan to value on off-plan properties
- Up to a maximum of 75% of the loan to value on completed properties.
These are available in GBP, Euros or US Dollars. Mortgages are payable by direct debit. At the moment mortgages are new in Turkey and the maximum loan period is 20 years. However, it is likely that shortly this will be increased up to 30 years.
We also deal with two specialist companies that deal in providing mortgages to those buying in Turkey, We can also put you in touch with these companies before or after your inspection tour visit to provide you with both mortgage and insurance products suitable for Turkey.
